Anne Freytag

Auteur Allemagne
Anne Freytag studied International Management and graduated right into the economic crisis. After writing over a hundred job applications without success, she worked in a boutique, signed up for unemployment benefits, retrained as a graphic designer, and took poorly paid positions at various agencies as a career changer. Finally, she pursued her true dream: Since 2013, she has dedicated herself completely to writing. Her young adult novels have earned her multiple literature prize nominations (including two consecutive nominations for the German Youth Literature Prize) and several awards (including the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize for Literature). Anne Freytag lives and works in Munich. "Lügen, die wir uns erzählen" is her literary debut.
