Its's hard to believe, but true! Stephen West is celebrating the 10th anniversary edition of the Westknits Mystery Shawl Knit Along (MKAL)! This year an excitingly bold and graphic shawl will unfold as we are knitting along. Stephen recommends choosing two colours with a high contrast to bring out the crisp lines and details of the shawl. If you prefer a more subtle contrast, it will be equally beautiful with a softer effect. With this in mind, we set up many kits for you in our exquisite On Stage - Long Métrage, a very soft yarn with a light, silky sheen. There are really not limits to the gorgeous combinations! And the best is, you can switch the colours around, in case you have not seen the perfect match for you. Yarns & Co. 2 skeins each of ON STAGE - Long Métrage by Nature's Luxury, hand-dyed, 50% superfine Merino, 30% Silk, 20% Baby Camel, approx. 400m/100g, in the colours of your choice. Sizes: The overall shape and dimensions are part of the mystery. SARFLAKE is announced to be a large shawl, but smaller than last year's Texture Time shawl. The kit includes the yarn and the complementary pattern (PDF-file). Supplies are not included. After purchase of your kit, you will receive an introductory PDF to prepare for the Mystery KAL. The first instructions for the pattern will be sent as a Ravelry update Friday, October 4. Then, you will receive a section of the mystery shawl pattern each week until the final design is revealed on October 25.
