SOWING SEEDS OF LOVE - a stunning shawl made in 4 pieces, combining stripes and gorgeous lacy chevrons.
First you will make the two long pieces which are joined to make the main body of the wrap, then the lacy chevrons are added to finish the piece.
Sowing Seeds of Love is the name of a wonderful song by Tears for Fears.
The more Joji worked on this wrap, the more it made her think of green and golden fields. Neat and geometric. She asked myself ‘what would I sow in them?'
And then she just couldn't think of any other name for this wrap.
We prepared almost a twin kit to Joji's gorgeous Sowing Seeds of Love stole with the original Marigold Hotel (2nd from the right) as in her sample, but in 100% Nature's Luxury, all in our lovely-soft On Stage - Long Métrage.
As green lovers, we put together several green variations. But we invite you to play and choose your personal favourites to your liking!
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx. 84" / 210 cm long and 26¾" / 67cm wide (after blocking).
Yarn & Co.
1 skein each of Nature's Luxury ON STAGE - LONG MÉTRAGE, hand-dyed, 50% superfine Merino, 30% Silk, 20% Baby Camel, approx. 400m/100g, in 5 different colours of your choice.
Needles: US 5 / 3.75mm needles.
Other notions: Stitch holders, waste yarn, stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.
Kits include the yarn, without supplies. Nature's Luxury offers you the instructions. They will be sent in a separate email via Ravelry with the link to download the PDF file.
