On Stage - Short Stories - The Laughing Hippopotamus
Slanting Slipover, by the Danish Designer Anne Ventzel, is a lovely vest with an elegant graphic pattern over the shoulders, continuing along the sides of the top, ending at the side slits of the hem.
The vest is knitted top-down, starting with the collar. Front and back are worked separately in rows to the bottom of the armholes. Then they are joined again, and the body is knit in the round to the hem. The split hem is another pretty detail, making this design unique.
