Graphito is a beautiful round yoke sweater, designed by Heidemarie Kaiser, worked seamlessly from top to bottom. Firstly, the neckline is formed with short rows back and forth. Then the yoke is worked with different stitch patterns until sleeve separation. For all stitch patterns, knit with only one colour at a time - it's a bit of brioche, eyelets, nupps, slipped and tuck stitches, making the knitting fun and entertaining. It is ideal for everyone who shies away from fair isle knitting! The stitches for the sleeves are set aside and the lower body is finished in the round. Sleeves are knitted in the round down to the cuff for either short sleeves or long sleeves. For her short sleeve version, Heidi chose NL's Sedalino, our lovely Silk/Linen blend, for the body and On Stage - Long Métrage as the contrast colour to set the pretty, graphic accents. A long sleeve version in NL's luxuriously soft Farouche, our lustrous silk/baby camel blend and On Stage - Long Métrage as the contrast colour, is available in a separate kit.
