It is the small island of Juist in the North Sea that inspired the über-talented ANKESTRICK to design this lovely sweater. JUiST No.1 is perfect for a long walk on a wind-blown beach. It is so cosy and chic at the same time, you never want to take it off. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch, with some short row shaping at the neck, while increasing for a slanted contiguous shoulder. We can confirm, it is a super clever pattern, giving you a result, fitting like a glove. Our version of Juist is knitted with one thread of Homey held together with one thread of Silk Divine, with the exception of the sleeve and the collar, knitted with only one thread (as in pattern) or two threads (as we did) of the lace yarn.
