Lucky Pieces by Inyoung Kim

Inyoung Kim designed Lucky Pieces for the Spring issue 36 of Pom Pom Quaterly. The beautiful top makes us think of a colourful quilt.
This inventive design incorporates textured pinwheels using an entrelac method, inspired by Toshiyuki Shimada’s ingenious Windmill Mittens.
Lucky Pieces is worked from the bottom up. Step by step, like in a puzzle, the nine colours unfold together with the main colour, to create a harmonious and cheerful look.

Lucky Pieces is part of the collection of 9 lovely patterns, presented in Pom Poms Spring issue 36.

The kit Lucky Pieces includes the yarn in the main colour and a set of 9 hand-dyed mini-skeins in NL's ON STAGE - LONG MÉTRAGE, in a palette of 9 gorgeous, carefully selected colours, destined as the contrast colours for this top. There are two sets you can choose from.
The main colour you can switch to your preferred shade.

The exquisite blend with super soft Merino, lustrous Silk and exotic Baby Camel is wonderful for this design. It is a single-ply yarn with a good twist and a distinct look and feel. On Stage – Long Métrage is an absolute pleasure to knit with and displays great stitch definition.

Pattern and supplies are NOT included. The pattern is featured in Pom Pom Quaterly - Issue 36.
