flyWHEEL - Soft-spun, minimally processed, cushy super-heathered woolen yarn - making it an excellent choice for projects with lots of cables and structured stitches, ideal for an outing to the countryside! The yarn colours were inspired by the beautiful elements situated along the waterway running right through the Harrisville village. flyWHEEL was also created to help support Harrisville's hydropower project that is currently underway. A portion of the proceeds for each skein sold will go towards restoring the hydropower installation, in order to produce clean energy from that very same waterway. The water that flows through the mill is the reason that Harrisville was established and produces woolen spun yarns since 1794. We hope you will consider being a part of their effort and history!
