We are so thrilled about Hausgebacken, the extravagantly stylish design by La Maison Rililie! Hausgebacken is the second exclusive design, fashioned for our Fall 2023 Gourmet-Knitting-Retreat. Rililie felt inspired to create her cool design in NL's Homey Nature and Homey Colour, hence the name Hausgebacken. What is Hausgebacken exactly? Is it a cape? Is it a shrug? It is something in between or better said, a genius combination of both. And the best thing is, you can wear it in two ways! You can style it with the doubled, two-coloured neckband around your neck and the stripes running along your sides or you turn it around 180° to have the striped section across your chest, and the neckband becomes the hem. I love both ways and will make great use of each one. Rililie's sample is knitted in the following colours: Homey Nature in Medium Grey (MC) and Homey Colour in Zimtstärn (CC) For my Hausgebacken, I chose Homey Nature in Grey/White and Homey Colour in Chilby (CC) Both samples are knitted in size XS/S.
