Cecelia Campochiaro designed COLORTUNES exclusively for our Nature's Luxury retreat 2020. Sadly, it had to be postponed to 2021. Nevertheless, we have the pleasure of sharing this lovely design with you. For this beautiful scarf, Cecelia chose NL's lustrous and soft ON STAGE in sweet candy colours with two cool shades of grey in the cloudlike, fluffy SILK DIVINE, combining Sequence and Marl Knitting, two techniques she is an expert in. Colortunes is striking in its simplicity, a mediative knit, yet interesting with the frequent change of colours and the marl. The finished result - a soothing sight for your eyes and a delight to wear. In Cecelia's words: Colortunes is a generous and luxurious scarf made with sequence knitting and marls. There are three colors in the thicker On Stage that determine the gauge and palette, and two colors in Silk Divine that modulates or tunes the colors. The stripes are laid out in varying orders so the colors are evenly distributed. Only one strand changes at a time which makes the knitting pleasant and visually connects one stripe to the next — in the language of Making Marls, this is a "swap one strand" marl sequence. one size Dimensions: 12 x 85" (30 x 216cm) after blocking The pattern can easily be altered to make the size you desire.
