Florence Spurling designed the exquisite Bowline exclusively for our Fall 2025 Gourmet-Knitting-Retreat, knitted in NL’s signature yarn ON STAGE – a sumptuous blend of soft merino, lustrous silk, and delicate baby camel. Bowline is a circular yoke tee that marries timeless elegance with a unique woven texture. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the design features a tactile 1x1 Broken Rib collar, mirrored at the cuffs and hem, adding refined structure to its relaxed silhouette. The striking yoke displays vertical columns of a dimensional beaded inlay design. Using two contrasting colours of seed beads on a contrast yarn, delicate floats are subtly integrated into the fabric, creating the illusion of a beautifully woven textile. Designed for a relaxed fit and effortless wearability, the Bowline Sweater is perfect for layering or wearing on its own as a statement piece. Instructions include both short- and long-sleeve versions, allowing you to tailor Bowline to the season and your style.
