Wrap yourself in warmth and style with the Nature's Cozy shawl! And cozy and warm it is indeed! Tif created this beautiful, generously sized wrap with a gentle curved silhouette, exclusively for our Fall 2024 Gourmet-Knitting Retreat. Now it is here for all of you. This design features a blend of stitch patterns and subtle yarn marling, creating textural visual interest and fun colour play. Tif invites you to experiment with the different stitch patterns and colours. It is super easy to make this shawl bigger or smaller to fit your own preference. A consistent main colour is paired with alternating contrasting yarns, making for delicate stripes of tone variation. In the sample, a solid MC yarn is combined with speckled CC yarns to achieve a subtle effect. Tif's Nature's Cozy features our Homey Svelte in natural light brown (MC) as the colour used throughout, paired with either two strands of Silk Divine in Earth Wedding Baby (CC1) or one strand of On Stage - Long Métrage in Thelma & Louise (CC2). These two shades were specially created to meet Tif's vision of her design. My sample is knitted with Homey Svelte in natural light brown (MC), Silk Divine in Lagoon (CC1) and On Stage - Long Métrage in Bonnie & Clyde (CC2). In addition, I went for a pop of colour in Silk Divine in Fresh Laundry. ONE SIZE - FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Wingspan: 68" / 170 cm. Depth: 16" / 40 cm. Yarns & Co. 2 skeins Nature's Luxury HOMEY SVELTE, undyed, 100% German Merino Wool, approx. 310m/100g, in a colour of your choice (MC). 2 skeins Nature's Luxury SILK DIVINE, hand-dyed, 60% Kid Mohair, 40% Silk, approx. 240m/20g, in a colour of your choice (CC1). 1 skein Nature's Luxury ON STAGE - LONG MÉTRAGE, hand-dyed, hand-dyed, 50% superfine Merino, 30% Silk, 20% Baby Camel, approx. 400m/100g, in a colour of your choice. (CC2). The kit includes the yarn. Nature's Luxury offers you the pattern for free PDF-download via Ravelry. Supplies are not included. NOTE: The kit for my Nature's Cozy does not include the pink colour. If you would like to knit yours like mine, you need to add an extra skein Silk Divine in Pink Laundry.
