A Sense of Place includes four new patterns for the whole family designed by Andrea Mowry of Drea Renee knits: Oxbow Cardigan, featuring Brooklyn Tweed Quarry; Full Circle Cowl, featuring Thirteen Mile Worsted; Jubilee Hat, featuring Green Mountain Spinnery Mewesic and our Snoqualmie Valley Yarn; and Local Roots Mukluks featuring YOTH Father. Alongside the patterns are three delicious recipes by Anna Brones of Comestible, that bring the fall harvest inside and onto our tables.

ANDREA MOWRY
After leaving her life as a pastry chef to start a family with her husband, her hands found the necessary freedom to begin creating with fiber instead of flour. Andrea focuses on designing knits to fit the modern wardrobe – fun to knit and easy to wear. She has a great love for indulging in new techniques and skills and then sharing them with other knitters through her patterns and workshops. Her goal is to leave knitters feeling empowered and inspired, and wrapped up in their own beautiful knits! Based in Michigan, she can be found traveling the country and beyond to teach other knitters; and also at www.DreaReneeKnits.com and everywhere as DreaReneeKnits.

ANNA BRONES
Anna is a writer, artist and producer, and the author of several books, including Fika: The Art of the Swedish Coffee Break and Best Served Wild: Real Food for Real Adventures. She is also the founder and publisher of Comestible, a seasonal journal about food and food productions. Find out more at annabrones.com.
