Ménage à Trois by La Maison Rililie is not only a shawl, it is a piece of art!

La Maison Rililie is definitely among the biggest names of knit wear designers nowadays and one of our personal favourites.

Both the “organic symmetry” found in nature, as well as the decorative shaping used in Art Nouveau architecture inspired the form for this Shawl.

The obviously related parts of a whole are celebrated in their individuality, without having them follow any rules for perfect symmetry. Each section completes and complements the next to produce a balanced “whole”, where 3 colours and 2 yarn bases render proportion in varying and almost unexpected positioning and repetitions.

Different textures and colour-placements create here the dynamic details that still provide a surprising harmony in the final accessory.
